I’ve mentioned before about how I read a lot of blogs. Here are a few that are a little different, but I enjoy them all just the same.
- Be Yr Own Queero- “Be Yr Own Queero brings you the best in LGBTQ activism, politics and culture by focusing on the personal stories of queer individuals. We feel that it’s important to have strong and supportive queer communities and we are creating those communities where they do not exist.” We are currently working on doing a blog exchange, but until then they are currently running a contest to win a tee from 410BC. You have to comment to win! Go visit them. The tees are cute!
- The Sweet Find of a Crossdresser’s Girlfriend- The name says it all. Read about a unique relationship about a straight woman in a relationship with a crossdresser. “Ever since I made Jeanie put on that french maid uniform and wash walls, he’s been on a strange trip of submissive bliss. I can’t complain. He’s the perfect mingle of love slave, housewife and pet.”
- Faces of Us- Send your picture to them with a quote reflecting your hope or struggle as LGBT. The idea is to show people what the different faces of our community. “FACES OF US is a photo campaign created with the purpose of bringing the fight for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) rights to the National spotlight. The campaign is still small, but growing, and shows the faces and identities of members of the LGBT community and allies who care about these issues.”
- That Gay Girl Tamara- We love Tamara around here and I love what she’s doing even more. She’s collecting letters to send our troops overseas in hopes of forming pen pals. Click the link to read more and send your letters to tamaraboynton@gmail.com with Soldier Love in the Subject Line. This is a great way to show our troops how much we appreciate them. With family in damn near every branch of the military, this really touches my heart. I’m still writing my letter, Tam!
Show these bloggers some love!
