When I finished my hair, I found myself staring at the mirror at a boy. Ok, well maybe I’m being a little extreme, but I did find myself looking like someone who was obviously gay. I made a joke on twitter about how I was going to femme up my look. Strong eye make up and glossy lips did the trick…I’m not a femme, I just play one at church…
It felt funny to look in the mirror at someone that was so obviously gay. I’ve always wanted to look more gay. Just because I think studs have it so much easier. They can be so easily identified that they constantly have a string of women ready to throw their panties at them. Have you noticed that?
Seeing myself look so gay, I panicked. How will I ever attract the kind of girl I like if I look so gay? I’ll explain.
I’ve heard studs say thousands of times that their preferred type of woman to date is straight. Or straight looking. Why? Because these women display visual femininity.
Admittedly, when I first came to Atlanta, I was the girl who would stroll around Piedmont Park in heels. After I tripped once, twice…a few dozen times (did I mention I’m clumsy?) I settled for flats. At some point, Jay started buying me boy clothes and I embraced my inner tomboy. It was from her that I learned that tight clothes do not equal sexiness.
So while my outside has changed a lot in the last 7 years, my love for women hasn’t. If anything I’m more sure of the type of woman that makes me happy.
I want my girl to look gay, but not be mistaken for a man. I want her to be comfortable in men’s clothes, but not have a saggy booty. I want her to be soft with me, but hard to the world. I want her to make me feel more feminine than I appear to the world.
Am I asking for too much?

So it seems like you are sort of a stud for stud type girl? i never knew that. just by words alone since I’ve never seen a picture of you I always thought you were sort of a lipstick femme but now from this i see your more of a tomboy. I love how that breaks the whole stereotypical “girl-in-boys clothes” personality.
Definitely not a stud, but definitely not a femme either. That itself is my problem, lol…
I should’ve stated, I’ve give up the boy attire, though I do like to buy girl’s clothes that are boy cut, like jeans and tees…
“I want my girl to look gay, but not be mistaken for a man. I want her to be comfortable in men’s clothes, but not have a saggy booty. I want her to be soft with me, but hard to the world. I want her to make me feel more feminine than I appear to the world.”
yes, yes, yes! i am w/ you 100%!!! must be a libra thing!!!
lol… you got yours though!
lol, I totally cracked up reading your opening line! Go you! I love that whole masculine edge the women I’m into have. Although I’m on the side where it doesn’t matter to me if someone I’m with is mistaken for a man because I think more often than not it has to do more with who is doing the “mistaking” (eh…is this even a word?) and their exposure (or in most cases lack there of) to different types of people.
I just really like my women to have physical facial features, that’s what I meant. I don’t care if they are slim hipped or small breasted. Actually, I kinda like them that way…
Right on, I hear that!
“Saggy booty”…lord? LMAO! And I LOVE my women feminine ALL DAY EVERY DAY! I love my femmes!!! Yummmy! Yummmy! Yummmy!
lol, you know what I mean! Thanks for popping in today. Pls come back tomorrow, I’ll need your feedback on my next subject…
Oh boy…I wonder what this next “subject” is?
I would agree it is a Libra thing. You want the perfect balance in a woman. You want her to be what you are not to help achieve the perfect relationship balance. As a Libra myself I will tell to never give up looking for her. She is out there.
Wanting that balance gets old! lol
It never gets old, maybe a little tiring and trying on the soul. Take your time and breathe through it. She is out there. Well that what I tell myself… lol
Let’s hope it’s true!
You’re not asking for too much. I’m a Virgo and not a Libra, but sometimes I think we were cut from the same cloth. That whole clumsy bit describes me and so does loving tees.
I’ve always hit it off with virgos…until I tried to date them…
“Just because I think studs have it so much easier. They can be so easily identified that they constantly have a string of women ready to throw their panties at them. Have you noticed that?”
Yes I have and I HATE THEM FOR IT. lol. But seriously, yes, it’s definitely an advantage I don’t have. Problem is, I like feminine clothes. I think I look best in things that are tailored to my body. I wouldn’t say I’m an extreme femme, I don’t wear heels daily – but I do prefer and buy only women’s clothes.
Unfortunately for me I’m not into butch women and my gaydar could use some fine tuning, so a lot of times I’m left wondering. I’m starting to figure out the small things to make myself visible – like my watch is so gay.
I don’t think you’re asking too much at all. But then again, lately I’m wondering if finding a femme who likes (mostly) femmes is like seeking the holy grail..
You sound like one of my exes. She likes tailored clothes, but the way she wears them adds an extra gay flair… It took her a long time to develop her look and now she screams gay without ever buying anything made for a man. It’s something about her look that attracts feminine women too, so I don’t think you’re a lost cause…
I don’ tthink you’re a lost cause either. There are plenty of femmes who like other femmes. Just be yourself.
You definitely are not asking for too much. I didn’t know that I wanted the exact same thing until I had it…it’s pretty perfect.
now if i can find it…
I don’t think I have ever been with a girl who classified herself as gay. I wouldn’t say I prefer “Straight, or Straight acting” it’s just how it happened for me.
You want her to be what you are not to help achieve the perfect relationship balance.
I would have to agree 150%.
She would not need to rock the stilletoes to the grocery store but they are a must have on the list.
But you have to be able to put your wifey Nike’s on and chill too.
It is all about the balance!
Gotta have the Nike’s!
I don’t think you’re asking too much. I guess you just haven’t found the right woman who meets all those criteria.
I wish I knew where to look…
Libra’s in the house!!
But I always look at short hair girls first to try to see if they are gay.I don’t know… I just think short hair=gay. maybe that’s just me.
Anyway you could still rock the hair and give a femme look.I just say do you!
It’s not the short hair, but it’s something about the style. I dunno.
Am I running a Libra convention? lol, yall are just attracted to the randomness…
Lol funny thing about this is that my friends granny asked her if I was “one of those” lol and I was immediatley scared that I looked like the type to be gay. People often refer to me as a stud…but um basically you like BIRLS lmao it’s cute, it’s not too demanding and just right…I’m a tomboi kind of girly person and that’s what I like.
FLATS ALL THE WAY!!
When I saw that video of you, that’s what I thought, but then I remembered your icon and got a little confused. It seems like you could be either which is a very attractive trait…
I love my femmes! i do! i do!. lol i have always done the ‘”dress like a boy thing” but I still have the “fem” quality. And all studs don’t have a line of women behind them lmao.that cracked me up cus all my friends think I do,and some of my exs lol. To me it is all about being comfortable.
All studs do, yall just ignore it or you’re completely unaware…
ok maybe i ignore it lol
ummhmmm
You aren’t asking for too much, but it may take some time to find your ideal match, but it will happen, when you least expect it.
I give up!
I’ll get the Barbie Doll and car battery, you bring Ken’s wardrobe, the jumper cables and maniacal laughter.
We’ll build this bitch yet.
lol, the baddest bitch!
I am with you…and I’m not even a libra! lol
I agree! Studs do have it easier! Although, I do think I’ve been “reading” gay more than ever and people seem to pick up on it more…I dunno why that is.
I wonder what it is if it’s not something really obvious…
And lmao @ at the Barbie and Ken clothes comment.
“I want my girl to look gay, but not be mistaken for a man. I want her to be comfortable in men’s clothes, but not have a saggy booty. I want her to be soft with me, but hard to the world. I want her to make me feel more feminine than I appear to the world.”
I Ditto this! I can dig it and I feel the same way.
BTW, I’m clumsy as hell too that’s why I very rarely wear heels! You’re not alone.
Really? For some reason, I imagined you’d be attracted to a really feminine girl…
“Im not a femme, I just play one at church”
LOVE IT..PREACH lol
lol, I can be so clever sometimes…
