I’ve been slightly missing in action. I know it, but I have a reason.
I’m designing my own blog with the hope of having it moved completely by the time I reach 50k hits. While I love graphic design, I am my own worst client in that I can’t make up my mind and I demand perfection from myself. I am working on it, or at least I was…
Until my charger on my laptop broke. Again. This is the second one in 2 months and I’m starting to take it personal. I looked today for another, but I’m too cheap to pay $100 for another one. I’ll be looking for some kind of computer shop tomorrow to see if I can find a replacement.
Hmmm, what else? I’m learning a lot about blog advertisement and how to make money from your blog. Expect to see that in a post soon…

Aww…computer malfunctions suck. My pc is fairly new (a yr old gateway) and its lovely but tis starting to get those little quirks in it that make me wanna throw my shoe at the monitor. But anyway, yeah. Cant wait for the new blog. Look at u, gettin too popular for wordpress
That’s not it! I just feel like I spend so much time writing, I should be getting paid for it. Even if it’s only a couple of hundred dollars a month…
Always somethin’, huh Alix? At this point, shouldn’t the company be sending you a free charger? I mean what sort of game are they runnin with this??
And hey, cut yourself some slack here. You know we’ll love whatever you come up with. But I know when you’re making something for yourself meant to represent yourself (at least in part) it could “always be better”
lol, I didn’t buy my laptop new, so the warranty on it has been gone. And my newest charger came from the now defunct circuit city and the warranty has expired.

Ahhh, Alix. I was wondering where you had been. Missed you on in “the blogosphere” and on twitter yesterday. What exactly kind of charger is it? Maybe you can find one on Amazon or Overstock.com for cheap.
It’s an HP charger. While I’ve read that they have a short lifespan, this is ridiculous. I think that my laptop gets really hot and melts whatever is holding the silver tube inside the plastic portion of the charger. That means, I need to leave it unplugged more.

We are going through the same problems. I don’t know what’s up with our stupid chargers. I was so desperate when my charger first went out, that I was using my dock printer adapter for a few days. Now nothing works. I don’t know why these adapters cost so much money and then break down so easily.
I swear it’s a c-o-n spiracy! lol, seriously though, the silver tube that actually does the charging just slid out of it’s plastic compartment. Is that not ridiculous?
